An Early Autumn Sunset
Photographing sunsets has been a long time interest of mine although I haven't been out for quite some time I did have the pleasure of going out of town for several sunset shots after watching the ducks at the marsh area south of town.
The suttle beginning of the sunset this beautiful
September the 3rd, 2015
Above this narrow band of color the sky
had a heavy overcast layer
It really did not look like there would be much color happening
These much hated weeds looked rather interesting, I may as
well have fun while I am out here right?
The warm weather, whispy clouds were very pretty above the
heavy band of cloud
A quiet time, nice to sit and realize what a nice day I have had
Young Poplar trees and weeds on the edge of the farmer's field
Oh Look! The sun is bursting through below the band of cloud!
Burning through the weeds, getting a bit more intense
Then it just got a bit boring so we decided to go back to town
About half way back to town the sky
suddenly burst into some awesome color
Drove around to the park road as it was getting very colorful
Wow! It cant get better than this, can it?
Oh, I love it!
The ending of a beautiful day with the promise of a great tomorrow
May your nights be filled with happy dreams
and your days be filled with many blessings

Wandering Down The Trails
Is Summertime Over?
Summertime offers us ultimate freedom and pleasures so I never cease to feel sad the first day of September because it makes me realize time is going by too quickly; We are entering the beginning of autumn, the season I love the best.
Summer is ending but the cycle of nature must continue, therefore autumn makes it's way into our life and here I find some of the greatest joys in my life, the wonderment of nature's most colorful palette of reds, greens, orange, yellows and so much more. This time when all the leaves and other foliage ripens and falls to the forest floor to decay and the decaying of the vegetation will restock the soil with nutrients and will hold moisture to feed the new growth in the spring.
Nature's way is good!
Young Cedar Waxwings
The ever evasive Red Tailed Hawk
Dead But Not Forgotten
Joe Pieweed Blooming Near The Saskatchewan River
Wind Bent With Time
Lovely Purple Asters Still Bloom
The Goldenrod And The Busy Bees
Pretty Little Lady Bug
The Autumn Of The Rose
Wild Raspberry Bushes
A Wee Trail To Where?
The Multi-String Band
I Heard Them Sing
We're Leaving Now
Wont Be Back Til Spring
Birds That Flock Together
Leave Together
The Watchful Eye Of The Red Tailed Hawk
Fun With Fungi
Delightful Purple Asters
I'm Busy As A Bee Can Be
Walking In The Forest, More Treasures To Find
Mounds Of Soft Mosses
A Lichen
Many Kinds Of Fungi
Fungi Springing Up Everywhere I Walk
Where Wee Fairies Hide?
Bottoms Up
Fan Of Fungi
Old And Wrinkled
So Smooth And White
Abstracts Of Nature
A Spongy Bottom
A Fairy's Doorway
